I think the site is Great! Keep up the good work. Have you ever thought about having someone sing the hymns at the end so we can know how to fit some of the chords in? Also, do you play the organ or have any tutorials for the organ? Overall two thumbs up!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments thus far. Currently having the original mp3 of the song while learning via the video tutorial is key in fully understanding the material. ReplyDeleteThese videos are by far the BEST hands on instructions I've ever witnessed. Everything is explained greatly, in detail. I'm a amateur and at first I thought the videos were going to be hard to learn, but I found out that they are easy learning and I must add....I think even a child could pick up these instructions! Once again, by FAR the BEST video instructions I've seen. I encourage amateur, intermediate and professional players to subscribe! I'm hooked A++++!

God Bless! This is the best place to learn how to play your favorite Gospel Songs. I've been looking for a site like this one for a very long time. The most important thing that I like about the smoothchord website, is that you get to talk directly with Starling Johnes if you ever come across a problem with the website. Only thing that i think needs to be improved is the ability to jump straight to the tutorial you want to watch, but that really doesnt have to change. Great Job Starling and may God Bless you for the opportunity you have given others to become better musicians.

ReplyDeleteI just love your site, you make it very easy to learn any song you have on your list. It has been truly a blessing that anyone can learn to play any song because of you. Only drawback is i can't scroll through your list quickly to pick a song from your tutorials. I have to go page by page. Other than that, thank you for your ministry. I just joined today and I'm so excited to have all these songs at my fingertips. God Bless !

I returned from taking out the trash in my apartment and noticed I had a voicemail. I wouldn't have imagined that it would have been Mr. Jones. I already thought it was great of him to be using his gifts to expand the musical ministry of others through his site; however, this brother has a down-to-earth spirit covering him as well (after being asked, he gave me some helpful advice concerning things outside of his website while he was preparing more music to share on his site). Mr. Jones, thanks for you your time and for your future prayers. All those out there wanting to grow, try this site out: it's easy to work, definitely resourceful, and it comes with lasting benefits.
